JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim Polri) has examined Honggo Wendratmo, a suspect and founder of PT Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI, related to further investigation into corruption case surrounding the supply of condensates to TPPI, Kompas.com reported.
The Police, according to Bareskrim Polri’s Director for economy crimes Brig. Gen. Victor Edison Simajuntak, examined Honggo at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore on Aug. 7-8, 2015.
As reported earlier, Honggo has been still received medical treatment in a hospital in Singapore. Honggo has been named as one of three suspects in this case along with Djoko Harsono (former BPMigas’s Deputy Finance & Marketing) and Raden Priyono (former BPMigas Chief).
The state losses, based on calculation from the Development Finance Comptroller (BPKP), is estimated to be around US$139 million from this case. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
