JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The National Police’s Anti-Terrorism Special Detachment (Densus) 88 has arrested 12 people and seized 9 guns that suspected linked to the bomb blasts and gunfires around the Sarinah complex in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (Jan. 14).

According to the Chief of the National Police Gen. Badrodin Haiti, the twelve people detained by the Police were arrested separately in West Java, East Java, and East Kalimantan.

The Police, Badrodin said, has also seized 9 guns, 6 gun magazines, 5 cellular phones, 1 unit of motorcycle.

As reported earlier, the bomb blasts and gunfires around the Sarinah complex killed 2 people and injured 19 others. All of the five bombers, meanwhile, died in the location. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
