JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) will propose to get Rp10 trillion capital injection from the government for 2016 fiscal year. This year, Govt injects Rp6 trillion fund.
PLN targets to boost its equity to Rp21 trillion, 30% of its investment target of Rp70 trillion, the minimum level of equity to seek loan facility for funding the said investment.
PLN will use its profits to support the equity structure. PLN suffered loss of Rp5.5 trillion in the first quarter of 2015, against profit of Rp26.3 trillion in the same period of 2014. Revenues declined 9.9% to US$64.33 trillion from previous Rp71.36 trillion.
