PEKANBARU (Yosefardi) – State electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), operated in Riau and Kepri district, plans to build coal-fired power plant in Dumai industrial estate, Riau, with investment cost of US$300 million, equivalent Rp3 trillion, Bisnis Indonesia reported.
Doddy Pangaribuan, PLN’s general manager for Riau and Kepri district, said the power plant will produce electricty power of 2×150 megawatts.
The construction of power plant will start this year and take 2 years for its completion, to commence operation by 2015.
