JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara Tbk (PLN) has secured loan facility of Rp2.6 trillion from PT Standard Chartered Bank Indonesia, Bisnis.com reported.
Both parties has Wednesday (Jan 22) signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU). The loan will be used to fund the gas-powered plant (PLTG) in Nanggroe Aceh Darusalam and Central Kalimantan.
PLN is seeking loan of around Rp51.2 trillion for funding its capital expenditure (capex) this year amounting Rp57.7 trillion.
PLN has option to issue bond and syariah bond, to raise 9.33 trillion, part of its bond scheme program, effective since mid of last year. In 2013, PLN had issued bond worth Rp2.67 trillion.
