JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has bagged syndicated loan of Rp7.5 trillion from 4 banks.

Setio Anggoro Dewo, PLN’s finance director said, the loan will be used to fund PLN’s capital expenditure (capex) for this year totaling Rp60 trillion.

That 4 banks providing loans to PLN are BRI, BNI, Bank Mandiri and BCA.

The government of Indonesia also provides Rp9.8 trillion from state budget for PLN. PLN also issues bonds of Rp2.5 trillion and Islamic bond (sukuk) worth Rp500 billion.
