JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – All plantation stocks gained this morning trade as crude palm oil prices recovered from its lowest during past 7 months.
CPO price for October delivery contract, with biggest volume, increased 0.58% to RM2,241 per ton in Malaysia Derivatives Exchange on Wednesday (July 17), a first time rise for past 6 days corrections.
BW Plantation jumped 5.8% with 13 million shares exchanged hands and London Sumatera climbed 4.03% with 19 million traded shares. BW Plantation has fallen 46% year to date while London Sumatera dropped 42%.
Salim Ivomas and Bakrie Sumatra Plantations also rose 1.43% and 1.96% respectively. Year to date, Salim Ivomas lost 38% while Bakrie Sumatra dropped 53%. Astra Agro Lestari increased 1.75%, but falling 17% from its peak year to date.
