JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) Tbk (PGAS) booked net profit of US$306.32 million in first nine months to September of 2015, dropped 48% from US$591.80 million in the corresponding period of 2014.
Revenues declined 10.7% to US$2.14 billion from previous US$2.39 billion. Cost of goods sold increased 0.6% to US$1.43 billion.
Gas distribution reached 789 MMSCFD during the period, of which 40% was distributed to electricity sector. While gas transmission (by PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia) reached 743 MMSCFD. PGN’s gas transmission amounted 24 MMSCFD.
Starting 2016, PGN plans to deliver 5 cargoes of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) from Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) Lampung, to serve demand in Lampung and West Java areas.
