JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Minister of State-owned Enterprises (SoE) Dahlan Iskan revealed that the acquisition plan by state oil and gas company PT Pertamina over state gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) Tbk (PGAS) is cancelled, Detikfinance.com reported Monday (May 12).
Otherwise, PGN’s plan to acquire PT Pertagas, subsidiary of Pertamina is also cancelled.
Dahlan said the acquisition is cancelled after Pertamina and PGN agreed to keep building the cooperation, instead of acquisition or merger.
Pertamina and PGN have long before been in conflict and fighting each other for the unfair business competition.
