JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State oil and gas company PT Pertamina has today signed agreement with coal miner PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO), under which Pertamina will utilize Adaro’s storage for Pertamina’s fuel.
The contract will run for 10 years. Pertamina will also sell 550,000 kiloliter of fuel per year to Adaro.
Alongwith, Pertamina will utilize Adaro’s fuel storage with capacity of 72,000 kiloliters. This contract is worth of Rp7 trillion.
Adaro’s storage will replace Pertamina’s floating storage which supplies fuel for eastern part of Indonesia.
Pertamina also mulls to utilize storage belonged to state electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), steel producer PT Karatau Steel Tbk (KRAS), and Chevron Pacific Indonesia.
