JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) allocate capital expenditure (capex) of US$644 million for funding its operation and business development next year.
Irfan Zainuddin, president director of PGR, said the capex will fund the existing geothermal projects (PLTP) such as PLTP Kamojang Unit 5.
PGE has allocated US$2.5 billion for funding all projects until 2019, done through the multi-years funding scheme.
Other PGR projects are PLTP Karaha Bodas 1×30 MW (West Java), Ulubelu 3 and 4 (2×55 MW) in Lampung, Lumut Balai 1 and 2 (2×55 MW) in South Sumatera, Lahendong 5 and 6 2×20 MW and small-scale Lahendong (2×5 MW) in North Sulawesi.
More projects include Sibayak (1×5 MW) in North Sumatera Utara, Hululais 1 and 2 (2×55 MW) in Bengkulu, and Sungai Penuh 1 (1×55 MW) in Jambi. All projects has combined capacity of 505 MW.
