JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State oil and gas company PT Pertamina targets to produce 573,300 barrels oil and gas per day (boepd) production in 2014, a 12% growth compared to 514,200 boepd estimated for this year.
Karen Agustiawan, Pertamina’s president director, said oil production is targeted to reach 252,200 barrels per day next year, a 13% growth from 223,600 barrels estimated for this year, while gas prodcution is targeted to increase 11% to 1,860.6 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd).
Karen said Pertamina EP is targeted to contribute 137,400 barrels oil per day in 2014, while Pertamina EP Cepu will contribute 27,600 barels oil per day and Pertamina Hulu Energy (PHE) will contribute 87,100 barrels oil per day.
For gas production, PHE will contribute 638,900 mmscfd while Pertamina EP will produce 1,221.7 mmscfd.
Karen added improved oil recovery (IOR) and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) programs will add oil production of 10,000 barrels per day, coming from four fields; Bajubang, Rantau, Tempino and Tanjung.
