JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has questioned Gunawan Saniskoro, commercial manager of PT Pertamina EP, on Tuesday (Dec. 23) related to further investigation into gas supply agreement bribery case implicating PT Media Karya Sentosa (MKS) and former Bangkalan Regent Fuad Amin Imron.
Gunawan was questioned as a witness for Antonio Bambang Djatmiko, director of PT MKS and one of suspects in the case.
Gunawan, as quoted by Kompas.com, admitted that there was an agreement between PT Pertamina EP and PT MKS regarding gas supply. The contract, according to Gunawan, was signed back in 2007.
As reported earlier, Fuad Amin Imron along with three other suspects in the case were caught red-handed in a bribery transaction on Dec. 1 allegedly related to gas supply agreement.
Three other suspects in the case are Antonio Bambang Djatmiko, Fuad’s adjutant namely Rauf, and Navy soldier First Corporal Darmono.
KPK seized Rp700 million of bribe cash money from the transaction. KPK has also seized five cars and one motorcycle belonging to Fuad.(haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
