JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Tax Office Ministry plans to impose 10% value-added tax for toll tariff, starting April 1, 2015.
This 10% tax would contribute state revenue of Rp1.2 trillion this year. This revenue will be used to fund the road infrastructure projects.
The government had planned to impose the value-added tax for toll tariff in 2003 but failed due to some concerns including the inflation.
