JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of state port operator company PT Pelindo II Richard Joost (RJ) Lino has answered the call from the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareksrim POLRI) for questioning today (Nov. 9).

Lino, accompanied by his lawyer Friedrich Yunadi and his staff, was being questioned as a witness in corruption allegation of the procurement of 10 mobile cranes worth Rp35 billion in his company.

The Bareskrim has investigated the case since August 2015. Pelindo II’s technical director Ferialdy Noerlan has been named as suspect in the case.

In the meantime, the House of Representatives (DPR) also established a special committee on investigating corruption allegations in Pelindo II, including the mobile cranes procurement case. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
