JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PDI-P lawmaker Rieke Diah Pitaloka has divorced from her husband Donny Gahral Adian after ten years of marriage.

Spokesperson of the Depok Religious Court Suryadi told Kompas.com that Rieke Diah has filed a divorce lawsuit to the court on Dec. 15, 2014. Suryadi said the court has granted Rieke’s lawsuit on Jan. 13, 2015.

Rieke married with Donny, a lecturer at the University of Indonesia (UI), back in Jul. 23, 2005. From their marriage, Rieke and Donny have three children. They are Sagara Kawani and the twins Misesa Adiansyah and Jalumanon Badrika.

Rieke is currently a PDI-P lawmaker at the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission IX that supervising manpower, transmigration, and health affairs. Rieke is also listed as member of the House Legislation Body (Baleg).

Rieke reportedly will run as mayor candidate in a local election in Depok, West Java, this year. Back in 2013, she lost to incumbent Governor Ahmad Heryawan in West Java gubernatorialship with only a razor-thin margin. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
