JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plantation shares were mostly in lower grounds in the region this morning as crude palm oil (CPO) retreats in the futures market.

In Jakarta, Astra Agro Lestari and PP London Sumatra lost 1.54% and 3.01% respectively, while Salim Ivomas and Sampoerna Agro down 1.27% and 0.55%.

In Singapore, Wilmar International lost 0.92%, while First Resources and Indofood Agri declined 0.26% and 1.23% respectively. In Kuala Lumpur, KL Kepong collapsed 2.47%, while Sime Darby down 0.42%.

In the futures market, CPO for the benchmark December 2013 deliveries down RM11 to RM2299 per ton, while January 2014 contracts slipped RM11 to RM2301/ton.
