JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The benchmark November 2013 contracts of crude palm oil (CPO) increased RM245 to RM2346 per ton on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Tuesday (Oct 8).
December 2013 contracts rose RM22 to RM2340 per ton and January 2014 contracts also grew by RM23 to RM2341.
In Jakarta bourse, BW Plantation gained 4.88%, London Sumatra surged 4.07%, Astra Agro inched up 0.8%, and Salim Ivomas jumped 4%.
In Singapore, Wilmar International rose 0.63% but Golden Agri-Resources and First Resources were in red.
In Kuala Lumpur, KL Kepong, Sime Darby, Felda Global Ventures, and IOI Corporation declined.
