JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The benchmark November 2013 contracts of crude palm oil (CPO) declined by RM31 to RM2413 per ton on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Monday (Sept 9).

December 2013 contracts also declined RM31 to RM2413 per ton while January 2014 contracts fell RM29 to RM2418. October 2013 contracts declined RM34 to RM2413/ton.

Most plantation shares gained in line with broader market which closed in green. Salim Ivomas rose 1.35%, London Sumatra increased 0.67%, Sampoerna Agro gained 1.61%, and Astra Agro up 2.86%. While BW Plantation retreated 2.22% after recent substantial gain.
