JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The benchmark November 2013 contracts of crude palm oil (CPO) opened lower by RM7 to RM2391 per ton on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives this morning.

December 2013 contracts also declined RM7 to RM2399 while January 2014 contracts fell RM6 to RM2403. October 2013 contracts declined RM7 to RM2402/ton.

Plantation shares, meanwhile, were mostly in red in Jakarta bourse. BW Plantation fell 4%, London Sumatera declined 1.9%, Salim Ivomas shed 2.53%, and Tunas Baru Lampung down 1.06%. While Astra Agro Lestari gained 0.24%.

In Singapore, Wilmar International gained 0.98% and First Resources rose 1.34%. In Malaysia IOI Coporation gained 1.23% and IJM Plantations fell 0.34%.
