JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plantation shares were still in red zone in the region Thursday (July 4th) despite continuous improvement of crude palm oil (CPO) in the futures market.
In Jakarta, Astra Agro Lestari (AALI) declined further by 1.66%, while PP London Sumatra lost 3.12%. Sampoerna Agro, Gozco, JA Wattie, and MAG Plantation were also in red.
In Singapore, Wilmar International and Golden Agri-Resources slipped 0.32% and 0.9% respectively, while First Resources and Indo Agri Resources gained 1.2% and 1.6% each.
In the futures market of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, the benchmark CPO contracts for September delivery gained RM15 to RM2380 per ton, while October contracts advanced RM13 to RM2371/ton.
