JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Property developer PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) booked marketing sales of Rp1.8 trillion in January-May 2015, representing 52.9% of this year target (Rp3.4 trillion).

The current relaxing of loan-to-value (LTV) ratio regulation and foreign ownership would be the positive sentiments for the property sector this year.

According to BI Regulation No 17/10/PBI/2015 effective June 18, 2015, LTV/FTV Ratio is loosened by 10% for landed house, apartment, and shophouses.

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has reportedly allowed foreign ownership for properties in Indonesia, mainly house and residence.

Meanwhile property developer PT Nirvana Development Tbk (NIRO) targets marketing sales of Rp1 trillion this year, mainly supported by land sales. In 2014, it booked marketing sales of Rp250 billion. Then, it expects to book profit this year, after suffering loss of Rp108.5 billion last year.
