JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) revealed Monday (November 3) that October inflation was 0.47%, compared to 0.27% in previous month.
Of 82 cities, 74 cities recorded inflation. Highest inflation occurred in Tual while the lowest occured in Mamuju. 8 cities recorded deflation, highest in Sorong and lowest in Tanjung Pandan.
The inflation was contributed by stapple food (0.25%), processed food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco (0.43%), housing, water, electricity, gas, fuel (1.04%), clothing (0.21%), health (0.6%), education, recreation, and sport (0.23%), and transportation, communication, finance services (0.16%).
Year to date, the inflation was 4.19% while year-on-year inflation reaches 4.83%.
