JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) revealed that October 2013 inflation was 0.09%, resulting in year-on-year inflation of 8.32% and year-to-date inflation of 7.66%.
Processed food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco contributed 0.55% inflation. Housing, water, electricity, gas, fuel contributed 0.26%.
Health contributed 0.33%, education, recreation, and sport contributed 0.31%, and transportation, communication, financial services were responsible for 0.53% inflation.
While stapple foods and clothing recorded 0.62% deflation and 0.56% deflation each.
Off 66 cities, 39 cities recorded inflation, highest occurred at Sibolga, and 27 cities recorded deflation, highest at Ambon.
