JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI), one of Indonesia’s leading breadmakers, booked net profit of Rp75.72 billion in first half of this year, flat compared to Rp72.13 billion in the same period of last year.
Net sales increased 23.8% to Rp706.88 billion from previous Rp570.36 billion. Cost of goods sold reached Rp379.88 billion then gross profit was Rp326.99 billion.
Operating profit reached Rp113.09 billion, higher than Rp96.47 billion in first half of 2012.
Its assets totaled Rp1.84 trillion while liability amounted Rp1.13 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp493.03 billion.
Currently the company has 8 factories with 24 productions lines. All 8 factories produce 613,393 dry/white breads per day and 2.8 million sweet breads per day.
