JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Nippon Indosari Tbk (ROTI), one of Indonesia’s leading breadmakers, plans to build 3 factories, located in Java and Kalimantan, by end of this year.

Currently the company has 8 factories with 24 productions lines. All 8 factories produce 613,393 dry/white breads per day and 2.8 million sweet breads per day.

The company intends to add 6 production lines, to help boost the capacity to 4.3 million breads per day by end of this year.

Nippon Indosari booked net profit of Rp75.72 billion in first half of this year, flat compared to Rp72.13 billion in the same period of last year. Net sales increased 23.8% to Rp706.88 billion from previous Rp570.36 billion.

PT Indoritel Tbk (DNET), formerly PT Dyviacom Intrabumi Tbk (DNET), internet services providing company, had acquired 31.5% ROTI shares for Rp2.12 trillion.
