Nigerian drug courier Daniel Enemuo has been executed on Nusakambangan Island, Central Java Sunday (January 17).
Daniel, known as Diarrssouba, is one of six convicts executed by Indonesian authorities despite protest from international community.
Daniel was convicted in 2004 under Indonesian anti-narcotics laws, which prescribe the death penalty for convicted felons.
Ulung Sampurna Jaya, Cilacap police chief, said Daniel’s body will be transported to Jakarta upon the request of Nigerian Ambassador to Indonesia.
