JAKARTA(Yosefardi) – Several Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) associated in the Coalition of Civil Society has filed a report to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding the indication of involvement of regional leaders and government officials in the money politics practices during the July 9 presidential election, Kompas.com reported.
Haris Azhar from the the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (Kontras) revealed the indication of the disbursement of fund to several regional leaders and their bureaucracy to influence the recapitulation of votes of the July 9 election.
Haris also revealed about indication of fraud in the process of recapitulation of votes in Bangkalan (Madura) and Johor (Malaysia).
The indication of fraud to influence the outcome of the election, according to Haris, was also found overseas such as Hongkong and Malaysia.
As reported earlier, The Indonesian Teachers Union Federation (FSGI) had filed a report to the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) complaining over campaign letter sent by presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto to their members. The Bawaslu then decided that Prabowo’s letter to teachers as a violation of campaign rules. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
