DENVER (Yosefardi) – Newmont Mining Corporation reported its attributable gold and copper production at Batu Hijau, Indonesia, fell 10% and 29%, respectively, in third quarter of this year.
CAS jumped 239% per ounce of gold and 258% per pound of copper. Gold AISC in Indonesia was $3,556 per ounce, an increase of 177% over the prior year quarter and copper AISC was $11.17 per pound, an increase of 193% over the prior year quarter.
For 2014, Newmont targets 55-65 thousands ounces of gold production and 65-75 thousands pounds of consolidated copper production
