JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Akil Mochtar, Constitutional Court Chief, expressed his concern related to the recent shooting incident.

He underlined that police should act immediately to arrest the shooter. According to Akil, more law enforcement officer, like him, could be the next victim if the shooter is allowed to walk free in the street.

Moreover, Akil stated that the recent shooting incident has also tarnished the state dignity.

“Symbol of the state to enforce the law is the law enforcement officer. If we let it (shooting in the street) happen, we are no different with Colombia and Cuba,” said Akil.
