JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Beer producer PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (MLBI) plans to invest Rp210 billion on new plant located in Sampang Agung industrial areal, Mojokerto, East Java.
The new plant will have production capacity of 500,000 hectoliters per year, to produce 3 brands of softdrinks; GreenSands, GreenSand Recharge, and Bintang Zero.
MLBI booked net profit of RP690.53 billion in first nine months of 2013 on net sales of Rp2.09 trillion. In the same period of 2012, it booked net profit of Rp575.09 billion on net sales of Rp1.72 trillion. Its assets totaled Rp1.59 trillion while liability amounted Rp884.38 billion.
