JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Mulfachri Harahap, 49, has been appointed as the new Head of the National Mandate Party’s (PAN) faction at the House of Representatives (DPR).
He has replaced Tjatur Sapto Edy, who has just resigned from his position soon after the lost of Hatta Rajasa to Zulkifli Hasan in the PAN chairmanship congress.
As the Head of PAN faction, Mulfachri will be assisted by Yandri Susanto and Eko Hendro Purnomo as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Born in Jakarta, on Mar. 23, 1966, Mulfachri is currently listed as PAN lawmaker at the DPR for the period of 2014-2019. He is listed as member of the House Commission III on supervising law and human rights affairs.
Mulfachri reclaimed his seat at the DPR after secured enough votes in the 2014 legislative election in North Sumatra I electoral region. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
