JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – National motorcycles sales grew by 7.1% to 4.2 million units in first half of this year, compared to 3.94 million units in the same period of last year.
However, the Indonesia Motorcycles Industry Association (AISI), said the growth was below the market expectation of 10% growth.
Honda sold 2.65 million units, Yamaha 1.33 million units, Suzuki 166,369 units, Kawasaki 79,741 units, and TVS sold 10,168 units.
AISI targets national motorcycles sales to reach 7.7-8 million units this year.
