JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PDI-P politician Arteria Dahlan added new evidence to prove ethical violation committed by the Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Abraham Samad.
In a press briefing on Sunday (Feb. 1), Arteria revealed a photograph showing the meeting between Abraham and someone with initial name of RNH to discuss Abraham’s nomination as Jokowi’s running mate in the 2014 presidential election.
Arteri said the meeting was attended by PDI-P key leaders. He also said that RNH is a son of a high-ranking military officer.
National media, meanwhile, speculated that RNH is Ronny Narpatisuta Hendropriyono, the son of former Chief of the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) Gen. (ret) Abdullah Mahmud Hendropriyono.
Previously, PDI-P’s Acting Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto accused Abraham for actively lobbying PDI-P to nominate him as Jokowi’s running mate. Hasto claimed he has evidences and witnesses to prove his accusations against Abraham.
A police report has been filed against Abraham by a non-government organization called as the KPK Watch. Those report is related to allegation of ethical violation committed by Abraham accordance to Hasto’s testimony and an article published in Kompasiana.
Abraham, meanwhile, has earlier denied all accusations made against him. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
