JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Modern Internasional Tbk (MDRN) plans to add 96 new outlets of 7-Eleven next year, allocated Rp400 billion for funding the expansion of outlets.

During this year, the company added 50 outlets. 7-Eleven has operated 144 outlets in Indonesia as of September, and targets to operate 167 outlets in Indonesia by end this year.

MDRN targets to book revenue of Rp1.3 trillion this year, of which 7-Eleven outlets will contributed 65% revenue. For 2014, 7-Eleven is targeted to contributed revenue of Rp1.1 trillion, or 70% of total revenue.

The company also plans to set up a joint venture with Japan-based Warabeya Nichiyo Co Ltd for developing fresh foods and packaging of products.

In first nine months of this year, MDRN booked net profit of Rp42.89 billion on revenue of Rp896.05 billion. Its assets totaled Rp1.88 trillion while liability amounted Rp853.47 billion.
