JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The nine justices at the Constitutional Court (MK) are expected to elect the new Court’s Chief Justice on Monday (Jan. 12) to replace Hamdan Zoelva, who already ends his term of duty.
The nine MK Justices will participate in the election. One of them will become the next Chief Justice of the MK.
Current MK justices are deputy chief justice Arief Hidayat, Aswanto, Wahiduddin Adams, Muhammad Alim, Anwar Usman, Suhartoyo, Maria Farida Indrati, Patrialis Akbar, and I Dewa Gede Palguna.
As reported earlier, Hamdan Zoelva ended his term of duty as MK Justice as well as MK Chief Justice on Jan. 6, 2015. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
