JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk (MPMX) has acquired PT Surya Anugrah Kencana, motorcycle and car rental company based in Jakarta, for Rp220 billion.
As of April 2013, MPMX operates 10,391 units of vehicles, to reach 12,012 units by June this year.
MPMX has also acquired 17% stake in PT Federal Karyatama (FKT), producer of Federal Oil product, for Rp300 billion.
As of December 2012, MPMX’s assets totaled Rp9 trillion. Its Honda motorcycle sales grew by 26% to 289,823 units in January-April 2013 period, while its oil product sales increased 11% to 22 million liters in the period.
