JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Newly listed-retailer gadget (Cyrus) distributor PT Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk (MKNT) mulls to build a factory, producing cellular phones.
Jefri Junaedi, MKNT’s president director, said the company will build the factory in Jakarta area, to start construction in the second half of 2016. The factory will produce 60,000 units of cellular phones per month.
MKNT also plans to add 15 outlets in first half of 2016, partly funded by its IPO proceeds of Rp28 billion. MKNT targets to book sales of Rp800-900 billion this year and net profit of Rp15-20 billion.
At 11 am Jakarta time, MKNT gained 25% to Rp425, extending 70% gain yesterday, day of its trading debut.
