JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Mirza Adityaswara has been sworn in on Thursday (Oct 3) as new senior deputy governor of Bank Indonesia for 2013-2014 period.
Mirza previously worked as analyst at BZW Niaga Securities, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, Indosuez W.I. Carr, Bahana Securities, Credit Suisse, and acted as ecoomist at Bank Mandiri, when Agus Martowardojo, now BI governor, was appointed chief executive officer (CEO) of the bank.
When Agus was appointed minister of finance, President SBY appointed Mirza as executive head of Deposits Insurance Agency (LPS) in 2012, replacing Firdaus Djaelani.
Graduated from Pangudi Luhur High School in Jakarta, Mirza born in Surabaya, April 9, 1965, enrolled into economic school of University of Indonesia. He took his master program at Macquarie University in Sydney (Australia).
