JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shares of mining companies retreated Tuesday (August 13) on profit taking after hefty gains booked on Monday.
Aneka Tambang and Bumi Resources Minerals retreated 2.3% and 4.3% respectively, while Vale Indonesia down 1.73%.
Adaro Energy, the second largest coal producer, lost 2.6%, while the largest coal producer Bumi Resources dropped almost 3%.
Bukit Asam also lost 2.3%, while Harum Energy and Indika Energy advanced 2.83% and 1.67% respectively.
In Hong Kong, China Shenhua and China Coal advanced 1.63% and 3.32% respectively, while BHP Billiton slipped 0.2% in Sydney.
