JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – While broader market was in bearish, mining stocks gained though in small trading volume in line with higher oil price.
Energi Mega jumped 4.17%, Vale Indonesia rose 1.55%, Timah increased 0.8%, and Aneka Tambang gained 0.77%. While Medco Energy lost 2.06%.
Among coal stocks Adaro Energy lifted 2.78%, Indo Tambangraya jumped 5.67%, Harum Energy hiked 2.75%, Bukit Asam surged 5.88%, while Bumi Resources was flat.
Nymex’s crude oil inched up 0.04% to US$105.00 per barrel in Asian trading this morning.
