As reported earlier, Badrodin has been nominated as the new police chief by President Joko “jokowi” Widodo. President Jokowi, in his letter to the House of Representatives (DPR), decided to nominate Badrodin following
public protest demanding the withdrawal of Budi Gunawan’s nomination.
Badrodin himself is expected on Thursday (Apr. 16) to undergo a fit and proper test as police chief candidate at the House Commission III.
The DPR should give their decisions on whether to accept or to reject Badrodin’s nomination before Apr. 20, 2015. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
