TANGERANG (Yosefardi) – PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI), operator of Alfamidi, AlfaExpress, and Lawson stores, allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp600 billion for this year, Investor Daily reported this morning.
Suantopo Po, MIDI’s finance director, said the capex will be used to fund the expansion of outlets and distribution center (DC).
He said the company plans to add 150 outlets Alfamidi and 10 Lawson stores during this year. Currently the company operates 503 Alfamidi outlets, 83 AlfaExpress outlets and 84 Lawson stores.
The company targets revenue to grow by 30% this year, compared to Rp3.87 trillion last year.
