SYDNEY (Yosefardi) – MEO Rover, a 2,000 DWT Platform Supply Vessel being built at Miclyn Express Offshore’s Batam Shipyard has been awarded a three year charter with Seascape Surveys, a business unit of Mermaid Maritime Plc.
The contract will be for the provision of ROV and full subsea support services. “MEO was able to leverage off its in-house capabilities and Batam Shipyard to provide a vessel conversion solution that met the requirements of Seascape,” said Miclyin in a disclosure to ASX Friday (July 12).
Myclyn, listed on Australia Stock Exchange (ASX), is a leading provider of service vessels to offshore oil and gas industry in Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
The company operates a ship repair and shipbuilding facility in Batam Island, Indonesia.
