JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investors focus to sell shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) this morning as they are not convinced about MNCN-Bakrie deal.
MNC Group controlled by Hary Tanoesoedibjo will reportedly close the acquisition deal with Bakrie Group in near term for acquiring television media.
At 9.51 am Jakarta time, MNCN dropped 6.9% to Rp3,350 per share. At this price, it has market capitalization of Rp46.75 trillion. The stock has gained 40% year to date.
While composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) also declined 0.18% to 5,198.52 in line with the falls in regional markets.
