JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Retailer Matahari Putra Prima (MPPA), controlled by Lippo Group, dropped as much as 11% Monday (July 8th) on profit taking.
More than 13 million shares were exchanged hands in the morning session, higher than daily average trading volume of 12 million shares in the past three months.
MPPA rallied from slightly above Rp1,000 early this year to as high as Rp3150 last month.
Sister retailer Matahari Department Stores (LPPF), meanwhile, dropped 5.53% to Rp11,100 with less than 1 million shares exchanged hands.
Other retailers were also in red, except ACE Hardware, which gained 3.08% with over 37 million shares traded.
