MAMUJU (Indonesia Today) – Energy and mining department of West Sulawesi plans to build steam power plant (PLTU) early next year in Kalukku, Mamuju, mediaindonesia.com reported.
Agus Salim Tamaudjoe, head of energy and mining department for West Sulawesi, said the PLTU will use 2 machines with capacity of 25 megawatts each.
He said the construction of PLTU is targeted to complete after next year of construction. The local government opts to build PLTU near port area Belang Belang as one of industry sector. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
