JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – SGX-listed Malacca Trust Limited has injected additional capital into PT Strait Finance through its wholly-owned subsidiary East Capital Investments (ECI) Pte Ltd.
Paid-up capital of PT Strait Finance was Rp5 billion before the capital injection, where ECI held 99.82% and Mr Rudy Johansen 0.18%.
After the investment, PT Strait Finance’s paid-up capital surged to Rp102.47 billion, where ECI holds 99.98%, while the balance held by Mr Johansen.
The investment is part of Malacca Trust’s internal restructuring. Ownership in PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance has also been transferred from PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional to PT Strait Finance.
