JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Lippo Group has assigned Deutsche Bank to seek loan of US$100 million for funding the expansion of 2000 screens of cinema operated by PT Cinemaxx Global Pasifik.

Cinemaxx plans to launch 2000 screens of cinema in 300 locations of 85 cities within next 10 years. Currently, Cinemaxx operated 60 cinema screens in 9 cities.

Lippo Group also appoints Rotchschild as financial adviser for preparing the initial public offering (IPO) of Cinemaxx in next three years.

In March 2014, MasterImage 3D, provider of pioneering 3D solutions for theaters, announced a partnership with Cinemaxx to provide 3D cinema systems for Cinemaxx’s rollout of cineplexes across Indonesia.
