JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Property developer PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) has divested 8.2% shares of PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO), through its units PT Kalimaya Pundi Bumi and PT Safira Prima Utara.
LPKR sold 92.8 million SILO shares at price of Rp12,250 per share, or Rp1.14 trillion in total. After the divestment, LPKR holds 70.8% SILO shares. Then the number of SILO shares at stock market or held by public investors increases to 29.2%.
SILO now operates 20 hospitals located in 15 cities and is targeted to reach more than 50 hospitals by 2017 located in more than 30 cities in Indonesia.
In nine months of 2014, SILO booked net profit of Rp54 billion, jumped 170% from Rp20 billion in the same period of 2013. While net sales rose 32% to Rp2.4 trillion from previous Rp1.83 trillion.
